Loving every minute

I love my life right now. Really. Truly. I do. There have been so many things over the past few weeks that have made me feel so grateful and blessed. I live in a great place. Now that it is getting warmer outside, we have had a chance to get to know our little piece of the world a little better. On Sunday, we went with some friends up Dry Fork Canyon and had a picnic. After our picnic, we took a drive, and I was just giddy looking at the beautiful scenery around me. It made me even happier knowing that it was only a 10 minute drive from our house. We have such great friends out here. It's so nice to find people you can sit and laugh with or sit and open up to. We are blessed. Yesterday, our dear friend Esther stopped by to see us on her way home from a little road trip. Oh, how I love that girl! I never laugh so hard as I do when we sit around and chat. I love that she is not only my good friend, but also Mike's good friend. I'm so glad she moved back to Utah and we get to see her and have her as part of our lives, still. So blessed. Mike and I have had many moments over the past little while where we sit back and look around and have to say that we love where we are in our lives. We love our house, we love our ward, we love discovering places around us, we love our friends, and we love that we are getting ready to welcome a little kiddo into the midst of all of it. Life is more than just good folks. It is fantastic.
