There are a couple of things I am sick of currently:
1. Being sick
2. Blisters
2. Blisters
3. Posts without pictures
Well, I am on the tail end of being sick. In fact I think it's safe to say that I am NO LONGER sick. And my voice is coming back. I sound like a chain smoker today, but that's better than not sounding like anyone or anything. Sadly, there will be no singing in the fireside tomorrow :( Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
Blisters, oh man, I hate those. I ran eight miles yesterday and then did a five mile walk to raise money to find a cure for MS. I currently have five blister bandages on my feet. It was worth it though. It felt good to run eight miles after being out of commision for about a week. It was also really fun to go down to the Cape with some good friends and do something that raised awareness and money for Multiple Sclerosis. My friend Marci was diagnosed with MS almost two years ago. She's the second close friend that I have had diagnosed with this disease. It's mind boggling to see how it affects people so differently, and I really pray that they find a cure.
Posts without pictures. I just realized that the last couple of my posts have been pictureless and therefore somewhat "blah". So that one I KNOW I can do something about. Following are some pictures from some of my recent adventures.
There's a little Martha Stewart in all of us. We had this wedge of wood, I got a drill, and Tadaa! isn't it pretty?

My good friend Kim moved in and lived with us for a few months before getting married. I heart Kim.

Saturday mornings have become "clean the house, or else" time at our house. This is a picture of Kirsti and I in deep cleaning mode. Don't mess with us.

Last night my friends Brian and Mike had a Soiree, or cocktail party. Everyone got all gussied up and they had some fabulous mocktails. The night was complete with live jazz music. My friend Natalie is always the life of the party as you can tell . . .

Today was a blast, wasn't it?! I think you're fabulous.
As far as last night goes, I'm kind of ridiculous, aren't I?
