Spring Bring and the best Ice Cream I've ever had

Last night, our friends CJ and Jani had us over for dinner. Jani had the genius idea to cook up gourmet hamburgers and have barbeque side items in an efffort to "Bring the Spring!" The food was delicious and CJ and Jani were great hosts. We (i mean i) offered to bring homemade ice cream. I had to work, but Mike had the day off - so I asked if he would be in charge. Little did I know that the whole process would take hours! Luckily my husband kicks butt and made the most delicious ice cream I have ever had in my entire life. Peanut Butter with Reese's crumbles. Holy Moly. So good. Didn't know my man was a gourmet ice cream maker, but now that I do - oh how happy I am.

On a side note - It is now warm enough for me to consider going for walks outside, 95% of the snow in our yard is melted, and I now have thoughts of what flowers to plant out front. I feel it people. Spring is almost here! Maybe it was Jani's gourmet hamburgers.

Annie and I were just saying that we are up to here [gesture of my hand flying over my head] of feeling/being cold. I feel sunlight on my face and I want to cry for joy. I have been fantasizing of beaches and sand. Haha. Us AZ/NC/CA people really don't belong in this state. :) but I guess we make due.

How exciting for you! I had forgotten that you were expecting! I am sure that I had heard this wonderful news from someone. At least your little bump is just exactly that...LITTLE! I feel simply huge and I am only a few weeks ahead of you! You look great! Hope all is well with you both. Take care! Sarah
