On June 27th Mike and I are getting married!
(if you can't read the title of the book, it's called "Mrs. Mike" - I thought it was appropriate and also one of my favorite books, ironically)
The ring:
The Story:Mike took me on a date to Mt. Wachusett to go snowboarding. This was where we had our first date and it was the first time we had been back since. I wasn't expecting a proposal or the ring at this point because Mike had been really sneaky and saying things to make me think that it was still a ways off. I didn't see it coming - at all. Half way down one of the runs, I fell and was just laying there not wanting to get back up. I'm pretty sure I broke my rear end. Mike came down right behind me and plopped down right next to me. We looked around and noticed that there was no one else around - so we decided to steal a few kisses. I got up to finish the run, but Mike flipped his board over and stayed on his knees. My thought was, come on, get up! But he just stayed there and said, "There's been something I've been dying to ask you...." Out came the most BEAUTIFUL ring I've ever seen and a proposal of marriage. My response was of course a resounding yes. I couldn't stop kissing him, I was so happy.
Mike is my best friend, the love of my life, and I can't wait to spend forever with him.

I did comment on your last post, but once again, congrats. We are so happy for both of you. I knew when I was with you in New York, that you two are right for each other. You are an awesome girl and he has been looking for you for a long time. We will have to keep in touch, I haven't done wedding plans long distance. Most will be easy enough by phone but I am worried about your Bouquet. I hope you can come for Memorial Day, I think we could do it then.
Congrats a million times over. We think Mike is a definite keeper too. And your ring is beautiful!

Rob here. Congrats on the engagement! That's so awesome. I'm sure he's a keeper if you've sticking with him. I also wanted to tell you how cool you are for posting Mason Jennings on your blog. He's one of my all-time fav's. I saw him live last year when he was in Salt Lake. I was right under his mike and he gave me his pick when he was done playing. Good times! Good luck with all the wedding stuff!
