A couple of Christmases ago, my sisters got me a fondue pot. I've taken it out on occasion, and it always ends up facilitating great meals and good conversation. I pulled the fondue pot out a little while ago and had some friends over. We sat around and stuffed our faces and laughed. I loved it.
Yesterday was another great memory. Mike's aunt let us use their house to host a Thanksgiving dinner. It was so nice to be in a REAL house with real dishes and a table big enough to fit all eight of us. It was fun to put all the food together and to see all of it laid out on the counter ready for us to attack it.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I must say how grateful I am for friendship, laughter, and of course... good food.
