Highly Distracted

I called in sick today. I'm not really sick. It's ok, it happens to the best of us. I decided to stay home and be super productive and get all of those little things on my checklist crossed off. So I woke up at 8:00 and started writing my student comments for grades - 26 pages worth. I have about six pages left. Then I decided to get at least one set of grades done, and that I did. I also had a chance to clean my room, make myself a fabulous lunch, AND run three miles in preparation for the half marathon I am running in May. The beauty of staying in my room on the computer all day, is that I get to reward myself with little breaks which included blog hopping, music browsing, email writing, and snacking on left overs from a quite delicious and enjoyable dinner yesterday. Yup, these little breaks turned into longer breaks. I am in the middle of one right now and I have found that my train of thought keeps reverting back to memories of warmer days and summer time.

And I have to say I can't wait for the sunshine to actually do its job. Curling up in a patch of sunlight on the living room floor just doesn't seem to be cutting it for me these days. I want real, heat you through and through sunlight. As I was thinking about this, my train of thought continued back to last summer and how much fun it was to be out and about. I do love that about being a teacher - my summers are free. More specifically I was thinking about the fun roadtrip we took last May and how I can't wait for this year's trip. I am including pictures to tempt anyone who might want to join us this year. . .

Oh grades are the worst! Especially comments. I try to stay upbeat, but honest. By the end I've written a novel and my hand hurts.

Trish, I figured it out. Go to NBC.com and then to shows. Choose The Office and then you will see the personality test towards the bottom of the page.
