Ok, so I realize that Sam's updated stats are really of no interest for anyone but myself - but I find it easier to sit and write about it on my computer than trying to locate the baby journal I occasionally remember to write in.  One day I'll be able to transfer it all over.

So here it is -
1. Sam is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up into a standing position if the object is just the right height.  He hasn't really started cruising yet, but he's close.
2. We no longer buy baby food at the store for him.  He eats what we eat for the most part which is really, really nice!  His breakfast is usually cereal mixed with applesauce with some cut up peaches, for lunch he loves his spaghettios, and dinner is whatever I'm eating but cut into smaller pieces.
3. He is feeding himself much better, still making a big ole mess, but he's got to start somewhere.
4. He has one little chiclet tooth in his mouth and another promising to break through at any time.  He also discovered that he likes to bite - more particularly bite me.  I've tried to flip his lip and say no, but nothing seems to deter him.
5. He's down to nursing only 2 times a day, in the morning and at night.  He's more interested, even at those times, in getting down and playing. He's definitley weaning himself.
6.  He's super interested in EVERYTHING!  He'll crawl from room to room and just investigate every nook and cranny.  He is also super social, smiling and laughing for everyone.  He hasn't developed a case of separation anxiety, which I am super grateful for.  I love that my baby loves everyone.
7.  He's had 4 ear infections in 4 months.  Poor kiddo.
On a "not" Sam note, we are in the process of getting our yard put in.  The landscapers came today to level and put in a sprinkler system, and on Tuesday we are spraying hydroseed.  Can't freaking wait to have green grass and a veggie garden in the back yard!
