Sensy Pants

I love my new home. I do not, however, love our smoke alarms. Anytime I turn on our stove top or oven it starts screaming at me. There is no smoke, people, no fire. I don't know what it thinks it's doing, or why it has to be so sensitive. Worse part - all of our smoke alarms are connected to each other. So, if one goes off - they all start going off. Not my favorite. Definitely not my favorite. I have a mop resting against the wall because that's the only way I can reach to turn this sucker off. Now that I've vented, I feel much better. Better until that stupid harpie starts screaming at me again.
