Yet another happy birthday!

Yesterday was such a great day. Thank you to ALL of you who sent me birthday wishes. It was a beautiful day all around. Outside the weather decided to be nice and slightly warm. That was perfect because we went for a night downtown. I went out to dinner at this great restaurant (Joe's American Grill on the Waterfront). It was delicious food with a picturesque view of Boston. I got a little bit sad looking at the city and realizing that in about two months I'll be saying good-bye. Boston has been a dream come true for me. It was number one on the places I had always wanted to live. I have had the opportunity to explore this little stretch of the world and have made some incredible memories in the process.

I had to laugh as I opened up my presents yesterday - there was a definite cupcake theme! Maybe my recent obsession with cupcakes has left a lasting impression on those around me. I was given a present in a cupcake bag, got a cupcake card, AND a giant cupcake tin! Mike thought the obsession might just die out eventually .... lucky me, I'm surrounded by enablers. Funny thing is my bridal shower theme that my friends are throwing for me is - you guessed it - cupcakes. I'm thinking I might want to give this love affair up for at least a month or two so I don't look all tubby in my dress.

Quite possible my favorite gift was one Mike gave me. I have been saying that I want an herb garden one day. Mike gave me an herb planter with seed packets, including my favorite - dill. I love him. He knows me so well and knows how to make me smile.

Thank you everyone! I love my life and I love those people in my life. You all make my life just a little bit sweeter.
