

My sister Tiffany orchestrated quite the birthday party for my two nieces today. We (The family) and about 18 other friends took off towards Mooresville, NC to go to a petting zoo of sorts. It was quite the experience - feeding giraffes, buffalo, emus, camels, and even looking on at Lenny the Rhinoceros and a couple of zebras. As I watched my sister pull this off, I was in awe of her and how well she does in these situations. She has so much patience, and is so ac
cepting of everyone. It was great to see how in the year that she's lived here in North Carolina, she has made so many close friends with her neighbors. They genuinely adore her and want to be around her. It's always refreshing to be around family. There are no expectations, and just a general sense of acceptance. I love that they are just as excited to see me as I am to see them.
